DESCRIPTION:This is a free seminar held at Gresham Japanese Garden’s greenhouse. \nLearn the four basic cuts of pruning and the subsequent reaction from these various pruning cuts. Sue Protz will demonstrate on broadleaf evergreens\, conifers and pines how\, where\, and when to prune using these four basic cut techniques. Learn also about tools and tool care. Take a tour of the Gresham Japanse Garden to understand the niwaki-style of pruning and how you can attempt it in your own setting.
