Located in the center of Main City Park, The Gresham Japanese Garden overlooks Johnson Creek as an elevated island called Tsuru. A beautiful, serene setting away from the hustle bustle of the busy avenues and venues, perfect for your special day.

The Gresham Japanese Garden showcases several Japanese structures such as the arched bridge, covered azumaya, pathways and fountain, providing a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony and photography throughout the garden.

Tsuru Island is available for weddings, memorial services and other celebrations from April thru September. Maximum number of occupancy is 50 people.

In addition to Tsuru Island, the Friends of Gresham Japanese Garden rents out Ebetsu Plaza and the Resource Center.

  • A detailed clean up of the Garden and Ebetsu Plaza before your event.
  • Renter is responsible for cleaning after the event.
  • Closing the Garden for your wedding with a volunteer on guard.

  • Meeting with Event Coordinator
  • Standby personnel
  • Resource Center: indoor private changing area, fully-stocked kitchenette, restroom, (Note: Alcohol is not allowed on premises.)
  • Maximum 50-person occupancy in the Garden
  • Maximum time: 4 hours included in cost ($50/hr for each extra hour)
This all-inclusive charge of $450.00, payable before your scheduled event.
One-day Event Insurance must be purchased by you before you continue to payment option. Average cost is $100.

  • Standby personnel
  • Guidance for parking at nearby lots so you can announce to your wedding party and guests.
  • A private changing area prior to and after the ceremony. Includes the restroom.
  • Maximum 50-person occupancy in the Garden
  • Maximum time: 3 hours included in cost ($50/hr for each extra hour)
This all-inclusive charge of $250.00, payable before your scheduled event.

  • Standby personnel
  • Approximately 100 people occupancy in Ebetsu Plaza and 80 people in the Resource Center
  • Maximum time: 4 hours included in cost ($50/hr for each extra hour)

*Renter is responsible for cleaning after the event and trash removal.

This all-inclusive charge of $300.00, payable before your scheduled event.
